At The AI Film Company, we understand that for AI-generated media to be used in professional production, the rights must be clear, assignable, and compliant with the expectations of global broadcasters, platforms, and distributors.

IP Ownership and Assignability
All outputs generated by our systems—including video, imagery, and style-guided animation—are owned by the client commissioning the work. We ensure that these outputs can be assigned, licensed, or sold without restriction. We work exclusively with AI systems that support clear, commercial-grade licensing.

Commercial Rights & Licensing Compliance
Our tools are configured and operated under license tiers that explicitly grant commercial usage rights. We do not use free or personal-use-only plans in any commercial workflows.

Each generated asset is:

  • Tagged with metadata linking it to the licensed system tier

  • Logged with the prompt, operator, and generation timestamp

  • Secured in a private, offline system for full provenance control

Chain-of-Title Assurance
We generate a full chain-of-title for every asset:

  • Input prompt or image reference

  • AI system and version used

  • Licensing tier at time of generation

  • Operator ID

  • Timestamp and hash-linked output ID

This documentation allows our clients to confidently assign the rights to downstream partners or integrate the work into larger productions.

Restrictions on Usage of Source Materials
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, no client content—scripts, reference images, personal data, or confidential information—is ever used to train or fine-tune the models we operate.

We do not feed client data back into any shared or cloud-based model. All work is performed on air-gapped systems where required.

Indemnification and Legal Coverage
We stand behind our workflows. Where appropriate, we indemnify our clients against third-party IP claims arising from the outputs of our systems, and our legal agreements include standard production-ready clauses covering liability, rights transfer, and content clearance.
