2. Ownership and Control

The .DAVE format, schema, and APIs are protected by copyright © aifilmcompany.com ltd.
The .DAVE name and logo are registered trademarks.
Only files certified through our validation process may display the .DAVE mark.

3. Licensed Use

You may:

Use the .DAVE SDK or API under licence.
Generate and deliver .DAVE-certified files as part of licensed workflows.
Integrate .DAVE into your production systems under an active developer or studio licence.

You may not:

Modify, fork, or redistribute the .DAVE format or schema.
Use the .DAVE name or logo for uncertified or altered files.
Remove or tamper with embedded rights metadata.
Bypass the .DAVE Clearinghouse for commercial royalty processing.

4. Clearinghouse and Fees

All commercial .DAVE transactions must connect to the official .DAVE Clearinghouse operated by aifilmcompany.com ltd. The Clearinghouse processes and routes royalties based on metadata embedded in each file (if any are present).Fees apply per transaction or via API subscription, as defined in your licence.

5. Liability and Warranty

.DAVE is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. aifilmcompany.com ltd accepts no liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use.

6. Governance and Versioning

Only versions published and certified by aifilmcompany.com ltd are recognised as official.
We may update the specification at any time to maintain security, interoperability, and compliance with international rights frameworks.
